Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Job description

Position Purpose: This position is responsible for driving continuous improvement in all the plant’s core processes (Production, Materials, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance) by leading, training, and coaching teams in the application of Manufacturing Excellence tools, such, as Six-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, as well as, other Continuous Improvement methodologies. Essential Functions: - Serve as facility expert, trainer, coach, leader in the effective application of lean manufacturing /six sigma tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Line Operations Balancing, Kaizen, Poke-Yoke, Process Capability, SMED, Kanban, etc. - Provide detailed, fact-based recommendation of potential projects that will deliver the most positive and lasting impact to the operation based on overall facility performance, strategy, financial, and AOP requirements.
