General Summary Directs and coordinates the activities of Nursing Support Services and Throughput for WellSpan York Hospital. Provides leadership to house supervisors, central staffing office, nursing resource team, IV team, and entity throughput. Ensures effective usage of resources and timeliness of patient flow. Duties and Responsibilities: - Directs, coordinates, and reacts to clinical, administrative, and technical functions and activities associated with Clinical Support Services and Throughput at WellSpan York Hospital. - Directs and oversees implementation of appropriate management teams and structures, processes, and systems in order to develop effective clinical support for the delivery of care, patient flow, and patient throughput objectives throughout the organization. - Collaborates with other clinical, administrative, and service line leaders, to advance clinical processes, system improvements, access to care, care delivery, patient flow and patient throughput requirements of all patient populations. - Refines protocols and processes, including clinical policy development, review and implementation, through collaboration with clinical leaders, physician groups, suppor...
