Job description

Minimum qualifications: - JD, equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience. - Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located. - 3 years of post qualification experience in private practice or an in-house team. - Experience partnering with executives and stakeholders on legal matters. Preferred qualifications: - Experience with one or more of supporting government reporting and compliance requirements, developing and making policy recommendations, supporting research and product development efforts using a risk-based framework. - Familiarity with AI regulatory regimes, emerging regulation, and existing legal frameworks. - Familiarity with issues at the heart of the public and government debate around Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its regulatory and policy landscapes across the United States, United Kingdom, and European Union. - Understanding of the technical workings of AI systems and processes such as ML training, model architectures and serving lifecycles.
