Job description
An Operator is responsible for the operation of machinery and equipment used in the production of goods. Their duties include setting up, maintaining, and controlling machinery, conducting tests and repairs, and operating tools to create or transport products. Operators must be knowledgeable about different parts of the machine and troubleshoot any challenges that may arise. Location: Alaska: Rotation: 14x14 or 21x21 (days or nights, including weekends and holidays) Machine Operation: Operate machinery and equipment according to established procedures. Setup and Calibration: Set up machines for production cycles, including calibration and cleaning. Monitoring and Adjustment: Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed) during production. Material Handling: Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines. Quality Inspection: Inspect parts using precision tools and measuring instruments. Maintenance and Repairs: Test machine operation periodically and address issues during the shift. Record Keeping: Maintain records of approved and defective units or final products.
