Machine Operator ll, Sections, 2nd Shift

Description Kondex Corporation is looking for Machine Operators to join the Sections department. Current openings on 2nd shift: $3.00 per hour shift premium Current 2nd shift hours: Monday - Friday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Training will likely occur on 1st shift, Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Hours can fluctuate depending on customer requirements and training needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Learn how to set-up and operate machines in the Sickle Sections area such as blanking presses, hydraulic presses, heat treat equipment and grinding machines. - Read prints and travelers. - Follow established machine settings and parameters. - Perform lock-out tag-out on equipment. - Perform basic inspections using hand-held measuring devices. - Work in computer system to track and close orders. - Perform 5S activities, including limited preventative maintenance on equipment. - May assist in training full time, part time, or temporary associates in the department. - The responsibilities listed above are not all encompassing of what may be asked of associates in this position.
