Min USD $15.50/Hr. Max: USD $21.44/Hr. Overview: Our Housekeeper performs daily cleaning and restocking of assigned areas throughout Decatur Memorial Hospital and its affiliated properties in accordance with established procedures and standards set by the Environmental Services and Infection Prevention & Control departments. Schedule: - 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM - 11.5-hour shifts - Scheduled 6 shifts per pay period - 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM - 6-hour shift - Scheduled 1 shift per pay period Weekend Rotation: - Includes one 12-hour shift on either Saturday or Sunday per pay period Employment Type: Full-Time: Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to lift objects and climb ladders as needed Capable of performing tasks requiring moderate physical effort Responsibilities: Demonstrate understanding of soil types (soluble vs. insoluble) and proper cleaning methods to ensure effective sanitation. Maintain cleaning carts and EVS storage areas in a clean, organized, and fully stocked condition per department standards.
