Job description

Ensures adequate day-to-day staffing of the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Department to ensure a safe, cost-effective quality operation. 2. Develops and assures compliance of clinical competency standards by front line staff. Works with department, department leadership, and medical director to develop and implement departmental clinical policies and protocols. 3. Monitors compliance of staff with regard to charting and patient care protocols. Maintain readiness for AACVPR certification, including data integrity, documentation audits, ITP compliance, and QI initiatives. 4. Responsible for overseeing departmental purchasing of routinely used supplies. Provides input in department’s capital expenditure and general operating needs for budget. 5. Participate in hiring and oversee the onboarding and orientation process for new team members. 6. Assimilates knowledge gained from conferences, workshops, seminars, professional literature, and AACVPR resources into practice. Develops mechanisms that facilitate transmission of new knowledge.
