Clinical Liaison - FT

Job description

Responsible for identifying business development opportunities in Paducah and the surrounding area and the surrounding areas. Works closely with physicians, case managers and hospital staff to identify appropriate patients who would benefit from the care provided in an LTACH enviornment. Develops and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Maintains awareness of and analyzes healthcare trends and regulations. Requires unrestricted RN or RT licensure and current acute care clinical experience, preferably in an ICU environment. Previous healthcare marketing experience preferred. Additional qualifications include financial acumen, excellent communication skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills. Regional travel is required. Demonstrates and understands the importance of and respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of each patient in all interactions. - Completes assessment of patients being referred to hospital to determine patients clinical needs and appropriateness of admission. - Able to review and present admission analysis, referral analysis, needs of referral contacts, and how to meet these needs. - Communicates regularly with managed care on-site review...
