This Opportunity As a Senior Technical Manager, Transit & Rail Rolling Stock Engineer , you will play a critical role in supporting the planning, design, integration, and delivery of complex rail and transit systems and rolling stock. You will work collaboratively across disciplines to ensure technical excellence and seamless system performance. This is a dynamic position that requires work in both the rolling stock and systems/signals areas. This position will require co-location working between the WSP South Jordan, UT office and the client facilities in the Salt Lake City area. Your Impact: Development of Technical Specifications: - Oversee and develop high level vehicle requirements for upcoming procurements - Develop requirements for rolling stock, both for rehabilitation/refurbishment, as well as new builds - Determine, as required, the need for contract addenda and modifications Integration & Collaboration: - Work closely with other SMEs (civil/track, mechanical) to troubleshoot day-to-day issues as well as with new vehicle acquisitions - Plan and facilitate interface requirements for various vehicle systems and network infrastructure - Interact and plan for engagements with...
