Data Team Lead – Markets Data Office About the role: We are creating a new, cross functional Market Data Office and are hiring a Data Team Lead to build and lead a team of 12 data specialists. You will own the operating model, set direction for data quality and controls, and ensure data is trusted, controlled and audit ready across three core data teams. The team is dedicated to implementing, executing, and continuously improving data quality processes and controls across multiple core data portfolio teams. Scope: Lead a horizontal team supporting three existing data teams and partner closely with product, architecture, business and Risk/Compliance. Objective: Define standards, implement controls and deliver measurable improvements in data trust and compliance. Team size & setup: ~10 specialists; hybrid working model. Balance: Combine people leadership with delivery ownership and governance accountability. Impact: Shape how the organisation manages data quality, lineage, access and audit evidence.
