Tool Maker/Machinist

Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Tool Maker/Machinist for a local client in Georgetown, DE. Qualifications: - Blueprint reading - Use manual mill, manual lathe and surface grinders - Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area - Perform minor repairs on molds (pins, blades, etc.) - CNC Milling (experience preferred) - EDM machine (experience preferred) - Fabricate intricate mold components from prints - Perform all repairs on molds - 3-D Milling - Performs other tasks as directed by supervisor - Manual dexterity and coordination - Ability to read and comprehend work instructions - Ability to read blueprints (preferred) - Great attention to detail - Work well with others - Mechanically inclined Education and/or Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent - Shop experience is preferred - Experience in Injection Molding is preferred Mathematical Skills: - Proficient in Shop Math - Proficient in measuring in tenths with tools such a micrometers Reasoning Ability: - Ability to recognize non-compliance to work standards and contact appropriate supervision or management staff Physical Demands: - Extended hours standing and repetitive tasks - Standi...
