Work Arrangement This is an onsite position in Tampa, FL, Huntsville , or Northern, VA. Job Overview: A Senior Systems Engineer leads projects related to creating system architecture, develops and defines system and product requirements, defines methods for verifying compliance to requirements, creates new solutions for the systems, and helps systems work more effectively. This individual may train or mentor Systems Engineers who have less experience and make decisions on projects and department activities. Their overall purpose is to ensure the product or system runs as efficiently as possible and works consistently to meet the needs of the company. Essential Functions: - Provide expertise, oversight, and participation in activities involving weapon systems and associated hardware/software development, integration, test, configuration management, and acquisition and resource management for new capabilities to an existing weapon system. - Develops and documents system and subsystem level specified and derived requirements and allocates requirements through the appropriate work breakdown structure (WBS) as codified in a System Requirements Review (SRR) process - Lead requirements id...
