Job Summary: The Providence Center Clinician/RN - Community Diversion - Providence EMS - PER DIEM, supports and maintains a relationship with Providence EMS/Fire and Police Departments by performing a range of clinical and administrative functions under the direction of the Supervisor. Provide triage and assessment services for individuals in the community experiencing a psychiatric or substance related crisis. Work closely with and provide education and training (individual and/or group) to community agencies, the police department, the fire department and other first responders. Provide outreach to appropriately referred individuals who have experienced a behavioral health event; coordinate and bridge services to behavioral health providers. Hours: Per Diem - Flex Weekday Evenings and Weekends 9:00 AM - 5:00PM Duties and Responsibilities: Provide and coordinate with fire, police, and first responders for the provision of triage and assessment services for individuals in the community experiencing a psychiatric crisis.
