The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement manages and oversees CarMax's strategic sourcing projects and develops programs using industry best practices, sourcing methodologies, tools, and techniques. This role partners with category leaders, business owners, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver products and services that provide maximum value to CarMax. The incumbent leads complex sourcing projects from planning through supplier selection, contracting, implementation, and performance tracking. The role develops sourcing strategies, evaluates supplier responses, negotiates business terms, communicates recommendations clearly, and helps ensure stakeholder expectations are met throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
