Senior Accountant Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor), a recognized leader in IT solutions headquartered in McLean, VA, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant. This is a full-time position based onsite at the company's headquarters. Roles and Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses. - Coordinate month-end and year-end close processes ensuring compliance with GAAP. - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning, as well as GSA reporting - Day to day use of Deltek Costpoint - Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. - Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems. - Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
