Background & Purpose of the Job The Customer Demand Planner serves as the responsible party for modeling demand, planning replenishment, and managing inventories with a customer-focus for key customers in our integrated and extended supply chain, with emphasis on managing baseline forecasts on all items and promotional volume and phasing on key promotions. These activities require frequent communication with Customer Development and the customer, and the successful execution of the role has a direct effect on Unilever’s sales volume/profitability as well as the customer’s sales volume/profitability. Who You Are & What You’ll Do - You’re a dot connector: You will apply analytical techniques and leverage supply chain data to develop tactical inventory replenishment plans for your customer. The accuracy of these plans directly impacts customer fill rate and satisfaction, as well as logistics efficiencies.
