Girls on the Run uses running as a vehicle for teaching life skills and promoting health outcomes for 8–14-year-old girls. As part of a network of Girls on the Run councils across the US and Canada, we implement a proven afterschool program in ~80 diverse communities in Eastern Massachusetts. GOTR Greater Boston is dedicated to being an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible organization. We strive to create programming that engages all communities, to be intentional about staff and volunteer diversity, and to promote a culture of inclusion across the organization.
