Serpa Packaging Solutions is seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join the Sales department team! The Mechanical Drafter will be responsible for supporting the Sales department in creating and updating floor plan drawings, customer plant layout drawings, flow drawings and maintaining department spreadsheets. May also support the Mechanical Engineering department with assembly drawings and technical part drawings, as well as Project Management with floor plan drawings and flow drawings. Requirements: - Learn and follow company procedure to produce detailed floor plan, customer plant layout, and flow drawings for Sales department, which includes mechanical and controls equipment. - Perform basic mathematical calculations and use AutoCAD to prepare Sales engineering drawings. - Under guidance, review completed drawings for accuracy, completeness, design practices, and standard applications. - Resolve design problems and prepare variations of design when needed. - Support drafting updates and offer flexibility to accommodate Sales team’s requests. - Update department sp...
