Description WHAT MAKES VOA SPECIAL?: VOAC recognizes the unique needs of the older adult who needs a wheelchair ramp to stay at home safely, and the preschooler whose family needs additional resources. VOAC supports veteran’s efforts to exit homelessness as well as provides a safe place for survivors of domestic violence. SUMMARY: The Building Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Volunteers of America facilities that fall within the Building Services Program. Ensures buildings, equipment and grounds are safe and in good repair at all times. May be required to supervise volunteers and contractors. Monitors the facilities to ensure they meet all safety and health requirements while following all OSHA, Federal and State as well as EPA requirements and laws.
