Rivers Health is seeking a Patient Access Clerk to Primarily responsible for all clerical communications and data processing activities related to the pre-registration, quick registration, and registration of all patients of the facility. Requires a customer relation focused attitude that relates a helpful and friendly atmosphere. including any insurance notification required. and deaths as needed patient record. alarms as required. requisitions and department mail. and provides services accordingly. staff members and visitors in a timely manner with the utmost of professional behavior. quality improvement activities including serving on quality improvement teams. counter tops, cabinets, etc. as needed. environmental and infection control standards. - Verifies and correctly enters patient demographic and insurance data - Performs clerical duties such as admission, discharges, transfers - Completes all required forms and scanning to maintain complete - Answers switchboard/phone and appropriately responds to emergency - Safely transports patients, supplies and specimens as needed. - Responsible for accepting and processing payments. - Processes department supply ordering, equipment m...
