THIS POSITION IS ASSIGNED TO THE OSCAR JOHNSON JR ENRICHMENT & RECREATION CENTER - KIDZONE JOB SUMMARY: With supervision, delivers programs and events directly to the public; open and close facilities; assist with planning, gathering and organizing supplies/equipment, set-up, assigning duties and take-down for programs and events; perform cursory cleanup of facility as needed; follow all City and Center policies and procedures; responsible for the care and safety of participants. QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Knowledge of basic cash handling. - Experience in working with children. - Excellent communication skills and customer service. - Experience with public programs/events preferred. - Ability to obtain relevant certifications within the time period designated by supervisor. - Ability to multitask. Education and Experience: - Minimum age of 18 years old. - High school diploma or equivalent. Special Requirements: - Must comply with City of Conroe direct deposit payroll policy. - Possession of a valid Texas class "C" driver's license or higher.
