Junior Graphic Designer/ Print Production Operator

FASTSIGNS SURREY is seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to support our Design and Production teams and will be responsible for preparing digital design files, setting up wide-format printers and plotters, and managing the pre-production workflow to ensure high-quality signage. This role bridges the gap between design and physical fabrication, requiring proficiency in graphic software and knowledge of signs. FASTSIGNS SURREY will train the right candidates in learning the exciting sign manufacturing industry. Core Responsibilities File Preparation & Prepress: Review design proofs, check for errors, and set up files for large format digital printing, vinyl cutting, and routing. Print Setup & Operation: Operate and maintain wide-format printers and plotters (e.g., UV, latex). Material Preparation: Select, load, and manage media such as vinyl, acrylic, aluminum, and PVC for printing. Quality Control (QC): Inspect printed output for color accuracy, resolution, and imperfections before fabrication.
