Are you willing to operate machinery safely and see the success of an exciting industry? Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator at our surface operations in Gilliam, MO. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move material within the plant. Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Participate in safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture - Inspect equipment for signs of wear - Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment - Work in a team environment - Clean work areas - Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions - Proper wear of personal protective equipment - Notify supervisors of repairs needed - Ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements - Assist in plant maintenance and repairs - Perform duties with minimum supervision Skills: - High school diploma, GED or equivalent - 1+ years of related experience - Valid US driver’s license - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Knowledge of MSHA regulations - Effective ve...
