Description Department: Nursing: Job Status: Full-Time: FLSA Status: Exempt: Reports To: Director of the School of Nursing Grade/Level: Master of Science in Nursing Amount of Travel Required: Some: Work Schedule: 12-Month contract, 9-Month Teaching Positions Supervised: If faculty member is the Clinical Course Coordinator, they will supervise the Clinical Instructor for assigned class. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Students: - Fulfill faculty members’ workload requirements through excellence in teaching, course-related advisement, and other activities. - Participate in student-faculty members’ activities that serve to strengthen student-faculty member relationships. - Participate in student advisement and academic counseling. - Plan for clinical experiences for students during direct clinical experiences and participate in orientation of Clinical Partners, if indicated. - Create and implement documentative and summative student evaluation. - Evaluate theoretical and clinical components of students’ instruction. - Inform the Director of the School of Nursing of progress or problems encountered in instruction. - Assume responsibility for assigned units of instruction and for examinations. - A...
