Responsibilities Peraton is hiring a Senior Mission Needs Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Mission Needs Advisor Systems Engineer on our team, you will provide systems engineering support to the customer’s high-level end-to-end IT requirements definition by supporting the predesign step of the customer’s enhanced solution process. You will support writing the Mission Need requests (high-level functional system requirements) and provide analysis of the mission needs in development, including initial scoping, identification of deficiencies to be resolved by the solution, identification of affected domains and potential remedies to be evaluated.
