Job description

Position Summary Performs all aspects of Materials Handler activities while ensuring security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review. Performs leadership responsibilities such as training and motivating staff, scheduling, conducting performance management, enforcing company policies, and interfacing with other departments and divisions. Responsible for overseeing assigned Material Handlers in their dayto-day responsibilities. Serves as a group leader, under the general supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager, to perform work in connection with the picking, pulling, transferring, cycle counting, and WIP functions necessary for the day-to-day operation of the plant. Determines priorities and make assignments accordingly and ensure that effective lines of communication between departments are established. May provide temporary supervision in the absence of the Supervisor.
