Rivers Health is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse for the General Surgery Office. Assists the provider with treatment of patients in the office, handles administrative and nursing duties related to patient care. Maintains a high quality of care within an office setting. History. Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments. Documents all activities, interventions and medications in the patient record. Obtains pre-certifications, pre-authorizations and referrals from insurance companies. exam rooms and other patient areas for the physician to examine the patients. are followed in the office. - Perform general nursing duties.
