Overview Nakupuna Companies is looking for a Program Advisor to support the Department of State’s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons (TIP) that leads the U.S. efforts to address modern slavery worldwide by promoting justice for survivors, holding perpetrators accountable, and reducing vulnerability to exploitation. Through diplomacy, policy coordination, foreign assistance, and international partnerships, the office advances a comprehensive strategy to eliminate trafficking. It also publishes the annual Trafficking in Persons Report, which assesses government responses around the world and offers tailored recommendations to drive progress. The Program Advisor plays a critical role in advancing international programs and initiatives related to human trafficking and criminal justice by providing subject matter expertise, managing foreign assistance activities, and ensuring interagency coordination. The position requires demonstrated ability to liaise within the TIP Office and with other Department bureaus and offices, as well as with external organizations.
