Data Center Facilities Technician, Electrical

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience with Electrical Distribution Systems (HV (High Voltage), LV (Low Voltage) , Protection and Controls, Power Quality). - Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays on shift based schedules as required. - Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting and work on platforms, ladders, and under raised floors. Preferred qualifications: - Experience planning and executing installation, commissioning, and equipment startup, following industry best practices and protocols. - Experience working in the control room for critical operations. - Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data center environments and controls/monitoring systems. - Excellent written, verbal communication and people management skills, with the ability to prioritize work efficiently.
