Strategic Sourcing Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: This role will lead the supplier on-time delivery performance improvement efforts, local sourcing, and local cost reduction pipeline for their assigned categories in the Vertiv Americas region. They will promote a lean culture and mindset of continuous improvement and will work closely with Suppliers, Category Management, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Planning, Operations, Engineering and Logistics functions to improve supplier on-time delivery performance and resiliency. This position is an integral part of the Procurement function and will align with both regional and global Procurement strategies. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Establish and lead supplier performance improvement programs to drive continuous improvement across on‑time delivery, cost, quality, and risk for assigned categories. - Plan and facilitate regular supplier business and performance reviews in partnership with Category Managers and cross‑functional stakeholders. - Lead local sourcing activities by anticipating change, challenging the status quo, and driving transformation initiatives. - Collaborate closely with Category Management and local Purchasing to localize critical components, improving lead t...
