Banquet & Events Intern The Banquet & Events Intern acts as the key link between meeting planners and all operational departments, ensuring seamless event execution and exceptional guest service. This role supports the full planning and on-site delivery of events, proactively anticipates client needs, and consistently upholds Sheraton’s service standards & programs. In addition, the intern contributes to the property’s commercial success by identifying opportunities to elevate experiences, enhance revenue, and strengthen client relationships by phone, in person or in writing. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Assist event hosts and coordinators before functions; confirm details and review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure accurate execution. - Support event setup, buffets, action stations, and special requests with a keen eye for presentation and upselling opportunities. - Deliver professional, attentive guest service; actively anticipate guest needs and highlight enhancements or add-ons when appropriate. - Communicate clearly and confidently with guests, colleagues, and supervisors, support phone handling and internal communication. - Help ensure events meet service, qualit...
