Description Incarnate Word High School, an all-girls Catholic high school sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, seeks a Religion teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position entails a full-time teaching schedule. Candidates must have current licensure. Catholic candidates preferred. The school seeks to maintain a fully and authentically Catholic environment. REPORTS TO: This position reports to the Principal of Incarnate Word High School (IWHS). QUALIFICATIONS: - Prepare curriculum documents to include standards, scope and sequences, syllabi, and lesson plans. - Use appropriate and varied instructional strategies, activities, and materials to promote student success and achievement. - Consistently monitor student achievement through appropriate and varied formative and summative assessments. - Update the school's electronic gradebook site Blackbaud with student grades at least once per week. - Keep class pages in Google Classroom current. - Post lesson plans weekly. - Establish and maintain open communication with students, their parents, and administration. - Attend faculty meetings, events, and professional development. - Collaborate with other faculty...
