Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for over-seeing all operating activities within the Converting Department as it relates to all equipment along with the training and leadership of CO II and III’s. Must comply with all safety, quality, GMPs, productivity and cleanliness standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Safety – Responsible for working safely and following all plant safety rules and policies. Reports unsafe conditions. Wears proper attire and all required PPE. - Works to correct daily problematic line issues including generating work orders, completing experiments and general trouble shooting. - Maintains oversight of CO II’s and CO III’s to ensure proper execution of established quality testing, line productivity targets, scrap goals and procedures. - Ensures supervision has complete and accurate production and scrap reports from the CO II’s and COIII’s at the end of each shift. - Maintains oversight of Converting personnel to ensure personal and food product safety, quality, and line productivity targets are being met. - Promptly addressing maintenance and safety issues.
