About the Role We are seeking a Director of Technology to lead a team of software engineers and take full ownership of an established portfolio of .NET-based products. The ideal candidate blends team management with technical. What You'll Own: You will be the accountable leader for a suite of products spanning the full .NET ecosystem from legacy VB.NET applications to modern C# .NET Core services. Your mandate is to keep the portfolio moving forward: reducing technical debt, modernizing aging systems, and raising the engineering bar across the team. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: - Manage and develop a team of engineers, including performance and career growth - Own the team's Jira board end-to-end: backlog grooming, ticket intake, sprint planning, and velocity tracking - Balance feature delivery against platform health and technical investment Platform Ownership: - Drive the roadmap for a legacy-forward .NET portfolio while planning modernization - Lead efforts toward current engineering standards: CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, improved secrets management, and similar platform improvements - Champion documentation, testing, logging, and observability where gaps...
