Specialist, Software Governance

Job description

The Specialist, Software Governance provides independent oversight of RCD software, including COTS solutions, to ensure compliance, quality, and design integrity across ship systems. As the program enters implementation, the role focuses on evaluating supplier software releases, testing and defect management practices, and auditing development environments to support informed decisions related to software safety, security, and governance. Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
