Job description

Summary: Responsible for ministry to the spiritual and emotional and relational health needs of all patient families and staff regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity. Resident learns professional competence in provision of spiritual care, learns about becoming integrated into pastoral care. Participates in forming community of concern for families, patients, staff. Assumes pastoral role in relationships, particularly in clinical setting. Utilizes personal and department resources in order to provide in-services. Responds to conflicts with physicians, ministers with facilities. Works with the facility directors to evaluate the quality of pastoral care. Education: Required: Graduate from accredited college or university. Meets requirements for admission to Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program.
