Job Summary: The Clinical Pharmacist-Inpatient works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Division Supervisor to provide a wide scope pharmaceutical service. Is responsible for analyzing, dispensing, compounding, monitoring, and recommending appropriate pharmaceutical care for patients of all ages. Work is accomplished in accordance with the policies and regulations of local, state and federal authorities as well as accepted standards of practice. Assists in the training and education of new pharmacists, technicians, students, and residents. These services may be provided for both the LLUMC and LLUCH hospitals. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Graduate from a school of pharmacy accredited by American Council of Pharmaceutical Education with Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required. PharmD is required if Pharmacist is assigned to work in NICU or PICU. One year of post-graduate hospital experience preferred.
