Overview Edith Bowen Laboratory School is currently hiring in Grades K-6 for the 2026-2027 School Year. Responsibilities: - Classroom instruction, team teaching, supervision of undergraduate pre-service teachers - Establish student outcomes and plan daily activities to achieve them - Become familiar with student’s individualized plans and see that they are implemented - Modify the general education curriculum for special-needs students based upon variety of instructional techniques and instructional technology - Establish and enforce rules for behavior and policies and procedures to maintain order among students - Prepare materials and resources for class activities - Develop and demonstrate use of creative educational practices, techniques and strategies - Keep in contact with parents/guardians on a regular basis and report any incidents to the Director and individuals involved - Be involved in conducting and validating research - Cooperate with university, state, and local educational agencies in research and assessment - Support special projects and committee work - Mentor and supervise a student teacher as well as other practicum students - Share innovative and best practices w...
