Description Assembler/Finishers are responsible for construction and quality of a switchgear production and sub-assemblies. This position requires excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products · Operate forklift and/or spot for forklift driver · Utilize handheld and power tools such as screwdrivers and hand-drills · Work with Quality department to ensure the product meets quality standards · Keep the work area safe, neat, and clean · Perform 5S activities and maintain equipment · Perform work in a safe and healthy manner; ensuring there are no deviations to standard work instructions that could lead to quality, productivity or safety problems · Identify and communicate ideas to team leaders that support improving the team’s performance and the elimination of waste · Participate in process improvement activities · Support other assembly teams when required · Display professional c...
