Rhode Island Medical Imaging is currently offering a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance!* SUMMARY: This position will require flexibility and floating to our other locations as needed; must be willing to travel. The practice of sonography is performed by a segment of healthcare professionals responsible for the administration of high-frequency sound waves for diagnostic purposes. Under the general direction of the Ultrasound Technologist Manager and the respective Site Manager, the Ultrasound Technologist provides requested images of high diagnostic quality based on the specifics of each case. SCHEDULE: - Monday, Tuesday, Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM - Part-time float position PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. - Maintain a high degree of accuracy in the production, use, recognition, and analysis of ultrasound images and patterns used for diagnosis.
