LOCATION: Phoenix Family Services STATUS: FT/40hrs/wk/Non Exempt: Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour MISSION STATEMENT: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. QUALIFICATIONS: RESPONSIBILITIES: - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. (Experience in social service capacity may substitute for education in a 2:1 ratio) - Excellent knowledge of local community resources required - Demonstrate a positive attitude & an ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds & circumstances - Able to maintain a non-judgmental demeanor, using a professional approach & maintaining boundaries with clients - Able to handle crisis/emergency services for the homeless & working poor by utilizing crisis intervention, & conflict resolution skills - Experience working with households with minor children - Ability to quickly become proficient in Salvation Army approved Social Service programs - Possess ability to develop and maintain a positive working...
