WHAT YOU’LL DO: The Sales Manager is responsible for driving group room nights and catering revenue for Rio Las Vegas. The position can be on-site or remote-based in a regional market and will manage a defined market, soliciting and closing business through multiple business development strategies. ROLE EXPECTATIONS: Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following: Maintain exceptional customer service at every interaction. Build and maintain strong meetings, conventions, trade show and intermediary customer relationship in conjunction with Hyatt Sales Force and partners, on behalf of -Rio Las Vegas. Solicit new group business within defined territory through prospecting, business travel, entertainment, industry association involvement, and existing relationships maintenance. Meet or exceed established quarterly and annual room night and revenue goals and adapt to changing market needs with resilience. Understand and communicate market trends with the team. Log and retrace customer activities within the sales system, establishing an appropriate communications cadence with customers.
