Job description

This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to identify and mitigate risk in the planning of manufacturing project schedules. Coordination with project management, engineering, purchasing, operations, quality, and sales is required to develop manufacturing timelines for all new orders to maintain workload balance and achievable manufacturing schedules. The Production Planning & Scheduling Specialist steers all projects through the organization by communicating priorities to each department as well as by adjusting and rescheduling projects when necessary. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Creates and enters schedules into ERP/MRP system. While maximizing Delkor’s operations efficiency (Engineering through Checkout), utilizes current schedule to manage overall production flow and propose changes as needed - Works with each department to help anticipate, identify, and address potential deviations from timeline - Monitors overall schedule progress to ensure milestones are being met.
