St. Ann’s Community is are currently looking for a full time Laundry Assistants at St. Ann’s Home located on the Portland Campus. The primary focus of this position is to prepare personal clothing and bed linens for residents and distribute to all areas as designated. St. Ann’s Community Offers: - Pay Range - $16 – $19.15/hr. - Full time shift - Medical, Vision & Dental plans available - Tuition and scholarship opportunities - Dash Pass and Bus pas program available Job Description: - Transport dirty linens in laundry bags from the chutes to laundry department for sorting - Sorting dirty linen and clothing by item (i.e. towels, washcloths, pants, underwear, blankets, etc.) - Loading and unloading of the items into and out of the washers and dryers - Distribute dried items to the appropriate area in the laundry for further production - Operate steam tunnel in a safe and productive manner producing finished garments. - Load “Z” carts for delivery, separating Residents by name, floor and room number - Maintain daily person production records by coun...
