Junior Litigation Associate

Stoel Rives LLP is seeking a litigation associate with one to three years of experience to join its Litigation Practice Group in the Anchorage office. The associate will work closely with clients who are national leaders in the agriculture, renewable energy, timber, and mining industries. Our Litigation Team: Stoel Rives’ Litigation Group consists of more than 80 litigators. Our lawyers represent people and entities, large and small, across diverse industries including agriculture, renewable energy, timber, and mining . They collaborate across offices and develop deep knowledge about their clients’ businesses. As a member of this group, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases for these clients and support their unique litigation needs. Responsibilities: Prepare pleadings; research and draft briefs and motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and discovery motions. Support and execute discovery, including written discovery, custodial interviews, and privilege logs. Take and defend fact depositions; prepare witnesses for testimony.
