Schedule Full Time, Day Shift (80 hours biweekly) Hours: Monday - Friday, Day shift hours Rotation: On call rotation: General Summary: Provides laboratory services to meet the needs of patients performed in accordance with accepted standards and practices. Supervises personnel and coordinates functions and activities in assigned support area of the laboratory. Functions as a support staff member and maintains competency in designated area(s). Essential Functions: - Directs, supervises, and coordinates laboratory support functions and activities in assigned area(s). Support areas can include phlebotomy, specimen processing, transcription, and clerical office. - Prepares work schedules, assigns personnel, evaluates work performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions. - Trains other employees in day to day procedures. - Models exceptional patient care techniques to staff in order to promote extraordinary patient experience - Assists in developing department goals and objectives. - Interacts with patients to obtain feedback, investigate concerns and complaints, responding in a timely and appropriate manner to bring resolution - Consults with technical staff and other healt...
