Material Handler II

Job description

SUMMARY: The Material Handler II is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within a warehouse or production environment. This role requires experience in handling inventory, operating equipment, and maintaining accurate records, while supporting the overall supply chain operations. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This role does not have supervisory responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Review raw material production schedules, pull material, and deliver to individual workstations. - Verify incoming material quantity/quality requirements, put away, and complete ERP receipt transactions. - Maintains and organizes raw material inventory. - Perform inventory cycle counts - Collaborate with inventory control to determine when product stock is needed. - Pack products to prepare for shipments. - Moves goods interdepartmentally utilizing hand trucks and other material handling equipment. - Maintains and organizes finished product stock. - Operate Forklift within the facility to transport product.
