Description The University of Washington (UW) is recruiting for a full-time Assistant, Associate or Full Professor WOT (without tenure due to funding) in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, Department of Medicine. Specific rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW’s Faculty Code Section 24-34 . This position is based at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS) and employment is paid directly by the VA. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. Clinical responsibilities will include both inpatient and outpatient activities at the VA Puget Sound, and will be involved in working with and teaching trainees in these settings. Clinical work will include attending on the medical intensive care unit and pulmonary consultation service, and outpatient pulmonary clinic. VAPSHCS is a Level 1a major interdisciplinary teaching healthcare system with two divisions and multiple community-based outpatient clinics (CBOC).
