SUMMARY: The Psychologist plans, conducts and supervises psychological services (eg. assessment and treatment) in the Bariatric Surgery Program as well as plans, coordinates and provides related research and program evaluation activities, and takes a leadership role in education, clinical training and other academic activities. QUALIFICATIONS: RESPONSIBILITIES: - Registration as a psychologist or as a psychologist in supervised practice in the Province of Ontario. - Demonstrated compliance with the ethical and professional practice standards of the profession. - Completion of doctoral and/or postdoctoral training in areas related to behavioural medicine, evidence-based assessment and treatment. - Eligibility for a faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences, McMaster University. - Completion of CPA or APA accredited internship in psychology. - Clinical experience in a behavioural medicine service. - Training and experience in evidence-based assessment and treatments. - Teaching and supervisory experiences at the undergraduate and graduate level. - An established track record of academic productivity (eg. peer reviewed funding, peer reviewed pub...
