Department: Telemetry: Shift/schedule: Full Time (36 hrs/wk): GENERAL SUMMARY: Works under the supervision of a Nurse Manager. The Monitor Tech/Clinical Assistant's primary job function is to perform general duties for the department, supports each strategic value by providing excellent care to those we serve The Clinical Assistant/Monitor Tech may perform a variety of basic patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Education: Licensure: Experience: - High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam Required - Clerical vocational training preferred - Successfully completes SOMC Arrhythmia competency upon hire - BLS within 90 days of hire required - Previous secretarial experience preferred.
